As Designer I work to deliver world-class digital experiences that help over 200+ millions users per year engage with our brands and digital products in more meaningful and qualitative way. I work closely with multi-faceted teams across the organization in order to meet performance goals, consolidate the brands vision and empower new business opportunities. Main responsibilities include: tackling all stages of the product development lifecycle by applying a user-centered design processes; running ideation sessions with stakeholders; collaborating with engineering and product partners on technical feasibility design, methodology and implementation; prototyping; wire-framing; writing requirements and technical specimens; user-facing digital and visual design, overseeing the development process and quality-assurance and designing visual assets for new digital products.

As an Art Director working for Thoughtlab, I was responsible for the conception, design and execution of compelling digital products, brand identities and visual assets used on online advertising and digital marketing. This lead position required me to work in tandem with a transdisciplinary team of: Engineers, Designers, Artists, Copywriters, Sales Teams, Artists, Digital Producers and Account Managers. My responsibilities as an Art Director included: creating branding and marketing platforms for businesses with various objectives; wire-framing, defining user flows and high-level digital strategy for digital products; designing consumer facing websites, web applications and native apps; holding client presentations and meetings with senior-level stakeholders; planning and managing complex production schedules; creating holistic sets of digital assets such as layout, typography, iconography, navigation and photography; overseeing the engineering process and leading the quality assurance process; and co-creating a new strategic framework that became the foundation for the company’s design, sales and management processes.

As a Graphic Designer I’ve helped Fortune’s 100+ companies meet goals by identifying approaches that satisfy their strategic and operational requirements and by creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform or captive users/viewers. Projects simultaneously include print and digital medias in various forms, and require the involvement of a big, complex and an energetic team-based effort to be accomplished within the given time and the company’s high-stardards. My responsibilities as a Designer included: designing websites and web-applications following requirements closely aligned with business objectives; helping define projects design goals with the research and management teams; creating User Experience frameworks; establishing design languages that work consistently across the company’s suite of tools and products; building and testing interactive prototypes; documenting detailed functional requirements; helping develop site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists; supporting Account Managers in managing scheduling tasks and client expectations; support design leadership present concepts and products to senior-level stakeholders; collaborating and providing feedback to engineers.

I’ve had the pleasure to work as a TA at Pratt’s Masters Program. During spring as Alisa Zamir’s Visual Communications 2 TA, and during Fall in Kevin Gatta’s Visual Communications 2 class. During this one year experience responsibilities included lecturing classes, grading students, art directing academic projects, and helping sustain an collaborative and productive class environment.

Stone Age tech is a big data analytics company based in Rio de Janeiro. As the lead graphic designer in their brilliant team, I was responsible for: Developing engaging and human-centered UI and UX; Branding internal and external products; Designing promotional material and stationary system internally and for products; and art directing an outside vendor responsible for designing the company’s new website and internal managing tools.
